Kazimierz J. Borkowski
Kazimierz J. Borkowski is a Research Professor
in the Department of Physics at North Carolina State
University. He obtained his undergraduate education
and his M.S. degree in Astronomy from the University
of Wroclaw (Poland) in 1977, and his graduate education
and his Ph.D. degree from University of Colorado
in Boulder in 1988. He then went on to do theoretical
shock wave research at University of Virginia in
Charlottesville, University of Maryland in College
Park, and at NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center, before
moving to North Carolina State University in 1995.
His professional interests are focused on supernova
remnants and planetary nebulae, including the Cas
A supernova remnant. |
