Romano Corradi was born in Milano, Italy, in 1964,
and made his academical studies at the University
of Padova. He has been working at ESO La Silla,
Chile, at the Instituto de Astrofisica de Canarias,
and since 1999 he is as a senior support astronomer
at the Isaac Newton
Group of Telescopes on the island of La Palma,
Spain. His fields of work are planetary nebulae,
symbiotic stars, and the interstellar medium in
nearby galaxies.
