Release Date:

This image is a composite of many separate exposures made by the ACS and WFPC2 instruments on the Hubble Space Telescope using several different filters. Five filters were used to sample broad and narrow wavelength ranges. The color results from assigning different hues (colors) to each monochromatic image.

The assigned colors for each filter are:
F475W blue
F550M green
F658N red-orange
F775W red
F502N blue-green (WFPC2)
