Even though the Hubble Space Telescope can take awesome images of Comet ISON, right down to the very center of its nucleus, comets are most appealing from a wide-angle view. This image, taken by astrophotographer Damian Peach, give us the most stunning view thus far of Comet ISON. Hoping that it will make a big splash as a naked eye comet, this photo lends a huge thumbs up to the potential for ISON to be memorable as well as photogenic. Congratulations to Damian for such a great catch! |
